Courtney Furlong, MS, MEd, LPC, CRC

Courtney Furlong currently serves as the Director of Research for Street Grace and is a PhD candidate at Auburn University. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Courtney is a licensed counselor, holding a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Science and a Master of Education in Rehabilitation Counseling from Auburn University. Courtney focuses her research on sex trafficking, sexual assault, and gender violence. Furlong previously worked at the International Labour Organization, NightLight International, and Out of Darkness. Over the past 20 years, Courtney has assisted tens of thousands of victims of sex trafficking from ten countries covering Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. In 2012, she received Auburn University's Young Alumni of the Year Award and was featured in the “Young Influencers List” in Brad Lomenick’s book, The Catalyst Leader. She likes dogs and singing.
