Crispin Rakibu Mbamba, MSc

Crispin Mbamba is a doctoral student researcher at the University at Albany’s School of Social Welfare. Before starting his PhD, He earned his master's degree in Defence, Development, and Diplomacy from Durham University in the UK. Crispin’s research focuses on human trafficking interventions, particularly using novel community-based methodologies to combat child trafficking. He is a winner of three internationally acclaimed grant awards from Germany (DAAD), Poland (NAWA PROM), and the United Kingdom (Commonwealth Shared). Crispin also researches how humanitarian emergencies compound trafficking risks and the best ways to mitigate emergency-related trafficking.
