The Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence (API-GBV)’s 2024 National Summit, “Growing from Our Roots,” will take place in San Francisco, California, from August 27-29, 2024. Our Summit theme, “Growing from Our Roots”, highlights our roots – the original leaders of our movement – and our new generation sprouting up. We would like to honor history and culture while connecting with forward movement and upward growth. Our goal is to strengthen and uplift the visibility and voice of AAPI-specific programs working within communities at the intersection of gender-based violence and other forms of oppression.
