International Women’s Day Event: Anti-Trafficking in the United Kingdom Virtual Screening Event and Panel Discussion

With the disappearance of many crucial channels of cooperation and information, the UK faces new challenges in eradicating human trafficking networks. This event will discuss anti-trafficking strategies in the UK’s post-Brexit context. The event will feature two short documentary screenings on the state of modern day slavery, followed by a panel discussion with Dame Sara Thornton, who is the UK’s current Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, and Marcia Longdon, who is the International Co-Chair to the Immigration & Human Trafficking Committee at the American Bar Association Employment & Labour Section.
