Dr. Sarah M. Godoy's (she/her) research focuses on the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adults, including their intersections with child welfare, legal, and healthcare systems. Dr. Godoy is passionate about using mixed methods approaches and participatory research strategies to engage communities with lived experience and multidisciplinary stakeholders to advance the prevention of commercial sexual exploitation and develop interventions that support these populations’ multifaceted needs.
