The presentation will review the specific mental health issues seen in victims more likely for sex work recidivism. The presentation will review both the vulnerability to initial victimization and the factors that may place the individual at higher risk of sex work recidivism. A discussion of the abuse, addiction, and psychological vulnerabilities is discussed. The presentation will propose preventive measures and advocacy strategies for high-risk populations. Care and treatment options will be reviewed to support mental wellness for victim survivors. The presentation will focus on mental health issues around sex work and recidivism.
